.Hi guys, Just a couple of days left before Christmas and I'm getting more excited by the minute, I've enjoyed so much thinking about designs for the holidays and actually seeing them come alive that I'm gonna miss it. This design I knew I wanted to do but I wasn't sure what color to use as background or for the stamping on the leaves, I tried like 3 different combinations and didn't like any until this one, it's soft and the holly really pops out against the light gray background, don't you think? Anyways, the grey background is Nubar Earthen, and the holly was stamped using MDU Spring Green and 2 Moyou London Festive Plates 06 and 17, the leaves I colored using China Glaze Glittering Garland. Thank you for reading!!
Happy Saturday!! Can't believe next week is Christmas already, time when by so fast and I won't have time to do as many holiday nails as possible so I'll try to post one many everyday till December 25th. For today's mani I have this mitten design that I think is adorable, I've worn this mani twice already, cause the first time I didn't take pics and I had to share it with you guys. The base color is China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, stamped with MDU Reddish and the BM -H03 plate from Bundle Monster, the stamps are made as decals using a WnW white polish to color the background. What do you think? Thank you for reading!!
Hi guys, Haven't posted anything in awhile but that doesn't mean I didn't miss it or I didn't have some ideas of designs to share with you. To start the holiday season in my blog I bring to you Snowflakes!! Even though I've never seen snow in real life, ever, it's one of my favorite shapes, I love everything with snowflakes on it and I wear then throughout the year. For today's mani I used LA Girl 3D Effects in Brilliant Blue as my base color, I love this polish it has a jelly base and tons of holographic sparkles that give a lot of depth to the mani. The Snowflakes are from the MoYou London Festive 06 Stamped with a miz of 3 different MDU polishes, Pastel Blue, Bones and Sky Blue. Thank you for reading !!!
Hi guys, Haven't had much time to do mu nails lately so I just did a quick design just so I don't have a plain color in them and cause I wanted to try this plate with a subtle color combination. The base color I used is Parka Perfect from Essie, and I stamped the design with MDU Pastel Blue and the Moyou London Fashionista 14. Hope you liked this simple design, I promise I have new things planned for the future.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have been thinking about tribal nails for awhile now and I've seen this type of design everywhere and I finally decided to give it a try and it didn't dissapoint. I wore it for several days and I was so sad when I had to remove it, does that happen to you too? To achieve the look I used the dry brush technique, I had to re do a few nails cause I'm still learning but I'm proud cause I didn't gave up and the results were pretty good. I started with a white base using Wet and Wild Correction tape , then I used Sinful Colors in Cotton Candy, Sweet Tooth, Sweet Nothing and Essie Chills and Thrills and the dry brush technique for multi color base. Finally I stamped the design with MDU Bones and the MoYou London Explorer 24 plate. I liked the results so much that I'll be trying this technique again with different colors for sure. What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite technique at the moment?
Thank you for reading 💋 Hi guys, I'm really excited about today's post cause I finally filmed another short tutorial and cause I really love how this mani turned out. It's inspired by Taylor Swift's outfit for this years VMAS (yes, I'm a swiftie). I gotta admit I didn't think I would do a houndstooth design in a long time cause I've used it several times before but when I saw her in the red carpet I knew I could use that for my nails, cause the pattern looked so festive and fun, also color appropriate for fall or a night out. What do you think of her outfit? I did a quick video tutorial for this mani that you can watch right here. I love how it sparkles and to be honest I never thought about a bronze to silver gradient before and I'm loving it, I'm pretty sure I can mix it up a bit for a halloween desing maybe... We'll see. Hope you enjoyed the video and the design. Let me know if you've ever been immediately inspired by someone's outfit like I was for this mani.
Thanks for reading ♥ Hi guys, I have a new design using my Cici&Sisi plates, this time I'm using the plate #26. This plate has tons of different patterns and it made it difficult to choose one to use that's why I chose 2 :) If you wanna see my full review of this stamping plate set you can find it here. For this mani I used Orly Hot Tropics, which is one of my favorite neon shimmery purples of all time. Then I used MDU Barbie and Black for the 2 different stamps. What do you think? I really enjoyed this design, it's simple but different and fun, and you can mix any colors you like to match your clothes or your mood. Hope you like it.
Thanks for reading! ♥ Hi guys, Today I have another cute design from my Cici & Sisi 25 plates. The more I work with the images in these plates the more I like them, they're just too much. This little bunny was made using the decal technique, the stamp was made with Kleancolor Metallic Black and then I used a few colors to paint it: NOPI Selena, NOPI Lay it on the Lime, Nubar Yellow Primrose, and Butter London Silly Billy. Base color for this accent nail is Color Club Meet me at the Rink. The squishy orange polish on my nails is Butter London Silly Billy, I only used two coats for full coverage of this gorgeous crelly and stamped the accents with MDU Bones. The little bow like stamps are actually from the same bunny image on the plate. I'm actually in love of how this design turned out, I think it would be awesome for easter next year (but I'm getting ahead of myself)
Don't forget to check out my full review on these Cici&Sisi plates here. Thank you for reading! ♥ Hi guys, I was recently contacted by the lovely Jackie from Cici & Sisi cause she wanted to use some of my pics (so exciting!) we kept talking and she offered to send me their latest stamping plate set. So here you have it. The set comes packaged in a cute box to protect it from harm during shipping and inside you find the super cute book-like case with a marshmallow like stamper and a metal scraper which makes it perfect for starting nail artists. To be honest I'm not fan of the marshmallow stampers, they don't work for me, no matter which brand I try, so I personally prefer the firm ones and can't say if this one works or not. Sorry! The set comes with 6 plates all with a hard plastic back cover and a blue film on front to protect them from scratches. The designs are super cute and you get a great variety. Images are big enough for long or wide nails, sometimes a bit too big for mine but I still love them. They are properly etched and the images come out crisp and perfect. You can buy it from amazon or the Ciciandsisi.com website. Check out all the plates on the slide show below. the first design I tried Re these super cute kitties from the Cici & Sisi 25 plate. As base color I used OPI Rumple's Wigging stamped with MDU Bones. For the accent nail I used the decal technique with MDU Black and Nubar Yellow Primrose. Love the little kitties 💕 I can't wait to keep playing with these plates. Will you be getting it? What's your favorite plate from the set?
Thanks for reading! 😘 Hi guys, I recently bought my first Gogo Only plate from Amazon, it's been sitting on my wishlist forever but I never pulled the trigger and got it till my boyfriend did it for me and I really like it so far. I was worried that the designs weren't etched deep enough or that the quality wouldn't be up to par but I don't have any complaints so far. The plate is huge and has tons of designs to work with, 40 full nail images and 10 small ones, it would make a great first plate for someone starting to stamp or a great addition to any collection cause it has stuff for everyone. It comes in a cute sleeve for safe keeping and with the blue film to protect it from scratches. The images are big enough for larger nail beds and they come out crisp and beautiful. My only recommendation is to use MDU or some special stamping polish that doesn't dry too fast for the finer lines. For my first design I chose on of the ladies on the bottom right cause they looked fun to use as a decal. I had to cut the design in half since my nails are small and it wouldn't fit completely but I love how it turned out. Base color is NOPI Selena; on my index and pinky I added a pattern using this same plate and MDU Bones. I'm really enjoying this mani, my friends at work were really impressed with how detailed the image is and so was I. Can't wait to play around with this plate some more. What do you think? Would you but it?
